You will also need a long scrap of worsted weight yarn to make the drawstring cord.

Made-to-measure so yarn quantities can range from 760-1740 yd / 695-1590 m

Tapestry needle, Scissors, 4 Stitch markers, Blocking Mats, Blocking Pins, Cord Maker*

*Such as a lucet fork, latch hook, or knitting mill

Intermediate: Knowledge of basic stitches and general confidence with crochet. Techniques include single, half double, double, treble, double treble, and triple treble crochet; half double crochet in third loop; increasing/basic garment shaping.

These are designed to use your own measurements rather than standard sizing. The pattern provides instructions on what parts of your body to measure and how to use these measurements to calculate stitch and row counts.

The shorts are constructed by creating a waistband that's worked flat then joined in a loop followed by working in joined and turned rounds until you split to work each leg individually.
