Saxon Skies Pullover

US G/6 (4.25mm)*, US H/8 (5mm)

*Most US G/6 hooks are 4mm; I used an older Boye hook that was 4.25mm. This may cause minor differences in gauge, so it's definitely a good idea to do a gauge swatch before making this pullover.

2507 (2616, 3161, 3270, 3488) (4360, 4469, 4796, 5014)

yarn needle, 5 stitch markers, scissors, optional decorative button (1"/25mm)

Intermediate: Comfortable with crochet basics and post stitches. Techniques include cables, several special stitches, long repeat patterns, and garment shaping.

Men's Sizes: XS (S, M, L, 1X) (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X)

Chest: 32 (35, 39, 43, 47) (51, 55, 59, 63)" / 81 (89, 99, 109, 119) (130, 140, 150, 160) cm

This pattern uses 2 hooks to adjust for variations in gauge between the single crochets and the cable sections.
The yarn used is on the lighter side of a worsted weight, so you may need to go down hook sizes if you use a substitute yarn that’s heavier. This pattern was my first sweater pattern, and I never had it tested or tech-edited. This sweater is designed with little to no ease in the chest with options for a straight or tapered waist, so take that into consideration when choosing a size for the wearer.
